It is positive to see a slight increase in imports of 0.9% against January 2017.  Most commodities recorded gains for the month including furniture, electrical equipment, rubber manufactures, timber, plastic ware and chemical products. Commodities with the most notable declines were vehicle parts, builders hardware, iron & steel, beverages and wood & cork manufactures.

Container exports was down 2.8% against January 2017. Commodities with the most notable declines were fruit & vegetables, cereal grains, dairy products, wool, hides, skins & furs and miscellaneous manufactures
