Border Watch South Australia (SANF 2016/003)

The following information has been provided by Border Watch South Australia and is forwarded for your information.

Good afternoon Border Watch Members,

It has been a busy month here; moving to a new state and taking on the South Australian Border Watch coordinator role. I managed to get out and visited 19 of our 70 odd members this month and I would like to thank everyone who emailed me and those I have met in person for such a warm welcome. I can’t wait to meet those I haven’t met in person over the coming months.

Please do not underestimate the value of making a referral no matter how insignificant you think the information is. Many of our successes at the Border are linked to information we receive from our members.  Note that many of the interceptions come from the environment you operate in.

If you would like me to come and conduct an information session please let me know and I will be only too happy to drop in. Similarly, for the regional areas let me know and I will organise one of our regional officers to drop by for a chat. Regarding new members; feel free to pass my details on to your colleagues if you think they would be interested in becoming members of the program.

Thanks again for your support.
