Regional CPD events (NNF 2015/023)

As a CBFCA member, you will be aware that there are changes, effective from 1 April 2015, as to how the Continuing Professional Development Scheme (“the Scheme”) mandated by the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service is to be administered. We refer you to ACN 2014/48 and the articles on CPD on the CBFCA web site.

One thing that hasn’t changed with the revised Scheme is that you will still need 30 CPD points in each CPD Year!

The good news is that the CBFCA remains committed to providing you with the most competitive, complete, flexible and user- friendly methods of obtaining and monitoring your CPD points. For the next CPD Year (starting on 1 April 2015), while continuing to offer you unlimited access to our online webinars and our extensive library of pre-recorded online sessions, the CBFCA will also be providing you with even greater opportunities to obtain your 30 points via two Regional CPD events.

In more good news and as a further value-add to your CBFCA membership, the delegate fee for the May/June one-day Regional CPD events is a very affordable $195 (+GST).

Registration and full event details will be released over coming weeks however so you can update your calendars we have provided the dates and venues for the various events below.

Please note each event will achieve at least 15 CPD points. The programs are currently in development and we are speaking with a range of speakers to include presentations from key regulators, technical, industry and legal experts.

All events will also provide for a one hour networking function immediately after the CPD Event to allow you to mix with fellow colleagues, presenters, sponsors and local service providers.
