NCBLAC Industry Representatives Appointed (NNF 2019/096)

The CBFCA is pleased to announce that our nomination of two members to represent customs brokers on the National Customs Brokers Licensing Advisory Committee (NCBLAC) has been accepted by the Department of Home Affairs.

NCBLAC is a statutory body under the Customs Act 1901. Its functions include the assessment of customs broker licence applications, and the preparation of reports for the Comptroller-General of Customs.

The Delegate of the Comptroller-General of Customs has accepted our nomination of Mr John Skevington as the Industry member of the NCBLAC for a period of two years commencing 1 July 2019.

The Delegate of the Comptroller-General of Customs has also accepted our nomination of Mr Ernest Dean as the Deputy Industry member of the NCBLAC for a period of two years commencing 1 July 2019.

The Department of Home Affairs appreciates the CBFCA’s continued support of the NCBLAC.

The CBFCA recognises the considerable contribution of our industry representatives on the NCBLAC and we thank both representatives for their outstanding work.
