CoR at Regional Forums (NNF 2018/010)

​NNF 2018/005 advised of the upcoming regional professional development forums and the opportunity at these events to finalise your CPD points for the 2017/18 CPD year.  

Members  will recall that Andrew dealt quite comprehensively with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) at all the regional conventions in 2017 and links to these presentations are shown below, please note that WA had a slightly different presentation due to the nature of its legislation.

At the 2018 Regional Forums Andrew will provide an update to delegates on CoR as well as address the impending changes - stay informed, stay up to date

For those wishing to update their knowledge of CoR there is a course available through the CBFCA college website ITALC – that is available for just $100.00

Session 3Technical sessions to be delivered by some of industry’s leading knowledge experts. These presenters are the real deal: current, experienced licensed customs brokers who really know their stuff. In these sessions we bring you:

•    Sue Danks (SYD Forum) - Sue will be presenting a Compliance update, including date of valuation and issues relating to overseas insurance
•    John Chambers (MEL Forum) - John will be presenting a session on GST on low value goods - The NEW requirements
•    David Lawson (BNE and FRE Forums) – David will be presenting a session on the tariff classification of accessories including  a review of the AAT case involving Laerdal Medical Pty Ltd

All three sessions will provide current, pertinent and technical information that you utilise and draw on in your day-to-day business practice as industry professionals and will enhance the services you can provide to your clients.

And remember that DIBPN 2017/38, mentions that non-compliance with CPD licence conditions can result in suspension and/or the issue of an infringement notice.
