Australian Trusted Trader - Two weeks to launch (NNF 2016/068)

The following information has been provided by the Australian Border Force and is forwarded for your attention.

"There are only two weeks to go before the Australian Trusted Trader programme officially opens to all Australian international businesses. ATT is open to all Australian international businesses from 1 July with expressions of interest to be submitted via our website.

ATT is a free and voluntary programme. ATT is not a mandatory programme, and traders do not need to be participants of ATT to continue to trade internationally. However, we strongly urge interested businesses to view our website or get in contact with our officers to understand more about the benefits and how ATT may help your business.

It should also be noted, applying businesses do not necessarily need to engage external companies to assist them with the application process. Australian Border Force officials are available to assist your business through the application process and are happy to answer any questions you may have.
