Independent Review of the Victorian Ports System

The Victorian Government is undertaking an Independent Review of the Victorian Ports System which is assessing the function and performance of current arrangements. It is also considering reforms to ensure that Victorian ports are well positioned to meet future needs.

IFCBAA Regional Manager VIC |TAS |SA, Zoran Kostadinoski previously met with the Independent Review Mark Curry and discussed how the ports system should function from a services providers perspective, and IFCBAA on behalf of members will further respond with a formal submission.

A Discussion Paper has been released for public comment as an important next step in the Independent Review.

You are invited to provide feedback in response to the Discussion Paper by 31 July 2020, either through the survey, or written submission by email to [email protected] or forward your comments to [email protected] by 24 July 2020 for inclusion into the IFCBAA submission.

Feedback is welcomed from port users, port service providers, port owners/operators, port regulators, and impacted communities.

Your feedback will help the Government better understand the challenges and opportunities facing our ports, and help to develop a stronger port policy and governance framework for Victoria.
