Remedial action has been initiated to clear the existing backlog. Based on current processing times, Customs anticipate that they should be up to date sometime tomorrow, Saturday 6 September 2008.
Currently industry is experiencing delays with turn around times on containers being x-rayed.
The tradition will continue with the next match to be held on Thursday 25 September 2008 (over 35s at 12.30pm and Opens at 2.30pm) – please refer to the attached flyer for further details.
This will involve all DP World employees and will mean that the terminal operations will cease from 12:30 hrs until 16:00 hours.
Members are advised that Raymond (Ray) Ryce died peacefully on Wednesday 27 August 2008, at the age of 74, following a long illness.
