The course is designed to provide comprehensive training in the theory and practical aspects of shipping dangerous goods by sea. It examines the IMDG Code and provides you with a systematic approach to packaging and documenting a hazardous shipment for sea transport.

The course is designed to provide an update in the theory and practical aspects of shipping dangerous goods by sea and provide you with the information you need to ensure your work practices and procedures are in line with the changes.

How is the course delivered?

The DG Sea Initial course can be taken as a classroom course of two-days, or online through our learning portal. The Refresher course is only available via the online delivery mode.

Classroom courses for the initial accreditation are offered in all the major capital cities around Australia.

Online delivery mode for both initial and refresher courses are fully online, and self-paced. This handy way of study allows study from anywhere and at any time to suit yourself.

Both delivery formats (classroom or online) are recognised by AMSA and are approved courses.
