Regional CPD event (WANF 2015/006)
We are pleased to advise members that registrations for the 1st Regional CPD event for the 2015/2016 CPD year to be held on
May 16th are now open
As advised in
NNF 2015/023
the way the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) scheme is to be
managed effective April 1, 2015 has changed. In line with these changes
brought in by the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service
(ACBPS), and your feedback from previous conventions, we have also
changed the way we will deliver you your CPD program.
Effective April 1, 2015 we will deliver two Regional CPD events that
will guarantee you your 30 points for the CPD year. We have also, as a
value-add to your CBFCA membership set the registration fee for the first of these sessions at a very affordable
$195.00.
The program is currently being developed but will include presentations from
Andrew Hudson – gadens
Australian Customs & Border Protection Service
Department of Agriculture
Department of the Environment
John Chambers – Chairman of CBFCA (an accredited technical session)
Fremantle Ports
CTO / Service Provider
The day will end with a networking / cocktail function to enable
delegates to mix with the presenters / fellow colleagues and sponsors.
These events have always provided valuable and current information both
on legislation and operational matters and these events will continue
that theme. Do not miss the first of these events – register NOW
Also mark your diaries for the second event on August 1st.
