Japan-Australia Economic Partnership Agreement sessions (TNF2015/002)

The CBFCA has been asked by the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service (ACBPS) to provide members with information CPD sessions that the ACBPS will be offering on the Japan-Australia Economic Partnership Agreement (JAEPA). The information about these sessions is provided in the panel on the right of this page.

As you would be aware, the CBFCA provided a CPD session on this topic in November last year, hosted by Andrew Hudson from Gadens Lawyers. That session, which was attended by a large number of members, was accredited for 3 CPD points under accreditation number CPD0139. Should you wish to attend a ACBPS session in February - despite both sessions being about JAEPA - you will still be eligible to receive another 3 CPD points for the ACBPS session in this current CPD year which concludes on 31 March 2015.

It is timely to advise that our new CBFCA website allows for you to record the CPD points for sessions such as this one from the ACBPS through our exclusive My CPD area. In this area currently you can:
  • View your CPD points attained through CBFCA events (face-to-face events only at this stage - webinar details to follow soon);
  • Record your non-CBFCA events to keep a central CPD repository (this JAEPA session is a perfect  example of one of these);
  • Report  your annual CPD events (both CBFCA and non-CBFCA events) through our clever CPD reporting structure that allows you to view a total of your points sorted by event, stream, accreditation code, etc.
To access your CPD area, login to the CBFCA's website using your login details which we have provided to you via email this and click on the My CBFCA/My Account.

We trust enjoy using this new CPD facility which is provided as a value-added service to CBFCA members.
