CPD / CBC - Are you compliant (TNF2019/001)

There are just TEN WEEKS to go for you to complete your mandated thirty (30) CPD points and your mandated CBC activities. Are you ready?

The CPD/CBC year ends  on 31 March 2019 - and that's getting closer every day!!

To ensure you are compliant and;
1. have the necessary points and activities,
2. have not attended / claimed the same session twice

We suggest you check your points on your CPD Portal on the CBFCA web site.

Not sure but need to check?

Then follow these quick steps
1. log into the CBFCA website using your individual log in details
2. Once logged in highlight the "MY CBFCA" tab and click on "MY ACCOUNT"

3. then click on "MY CPD"

4. then page down to the bottom of the screen and complete the dates in the CPD Report area - you just need to complete the dates NOT the Type or Stream and then hit FIND - the report will be generated and you can export in EXCEL and check all your sessions and activities.

Still have more  work to do to complete your accreditation(s)? That's OK as we have you covered via our accredited programs which provide a simple and extremely cost effective  solution. These are your options:

CPD
  • If you are a CBFCA member, you will already have FULL access to our complete library of pre-recorded CPD events as part of your membership. Not a single cent to pay. You can simply login online and complete your accreditation at anytime between now and 31 March. if you have forgotten how to login or access this learning, just drop us a line. Note that the CBFCA's Accredited CPD Program is available through our College website which is  www.italc.edu.au. Any questions, just ask
  • Again, if you are a member you can view the current status of your CPD completion via the CBFCA website. The above video above will show you how to access that.
  • Have you attended any events such as legal forums, CBFCA National Conference or State Regional Conventions in the current CPD year (1 April 2018 up until now)? These events provide extensive coverage of CPD points. If you were a delegate at any of these events we would have provided you with a summary of your CPD but if you need further information let us know.
  • If you are not a CBFCA member and you haven't attended events (or sufficient events to give you 30 CPD points) you can attain your CPD through the CBFCA's Accredited CPD Program. The access fee is $295 (+GST) and this gives you full access to our extensive library of pre-recorded CPD sessions. If you would like to use this very effective pathway to attain your CPD points, just send me an email and I will make it happen for you.

NB: please note that for CPD you can only claim a maximum of 12 points in Stream B and you can only claim a session ONCE

CBC
  • Did you attend the CBFCA's Regional convention in 2018? If so, you would have attained your required CBC activity (Activity 18-19/01) which in this CBC year was one of two (2), or three (3)  if you are AEPCOMM accredited,  activities you needed to do to retain accreditation.
  • Just a reminder that CBC is not based on hours. CBC is now based on the completion of specific activities as mandated by DAWR. For NCCC your mandated activities were 18-19/01 and 18-19/02 (deadline was June 4, 2018). For AEPCOMM you also had to do activity 18-19/03, again deadline was June 4, 2018. If you did not complete the required activities by the specified date you may no longer be accredited for NCCC or AEPCOMM - if that is the case please contact us and we will try to assist.

Our mission is to take the stress out of all this and make it as easy as possible for you to retain your mandatory accreditation. We are the experts in this field so let us help you get over the line by 31 March 2019.
