How are you going with your CPD and CBC? (TNF 2017/006)

It's that time of year when we start to think about whether we have completed  our mandated thirty (30) Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points and our mandated two (2) hours of Continued Biosecurity Competency (CBC).

The CPD/CBC year ends  on 31 March 2017 - and that's just SIX weeks away!

So how are you going so far? Got it all covered with 30 points and 2 hours? Well done.

Not sure but need to check? Take a look at this video I created to show you how to check your current status of both CPD and CBC completed through the CBFCA member website.

Still have more  work to do to complete your accreditation/s? That's OK as we have you covered via our accredited programs which provide a simple and extremely cost effective solution. These are your options:

CPD
  • If you are a CBFCA member, you will already have FULL access to our complete library of pre-recorded CPD events as part of your membership. Not a single cent to pay. You can simply login online and complete your accreditation at anytime between now and 31 March. if you have forgotten how to login or access this learning, just drop us a line. Note that the CBFCA's Accredited CPD Program is available through our College website which is www.italc.edu.au. Any questions, just ask
  • Again, if you are a member you can view the current status of your CPD completion via the CBFCA website. My video above will show you how to access that.
  • Have you attended any events such as legal forums, CBFCA National Conference or State Regional Conventions in the current CPD year (1 April 2016 up until now)? These events provide extensive coverage of CPD points. If you were a delegate at any of these events we would have provided you with a summary of your CPD but if you need further information let us know. Usually, attendance at both of these conference means you have well and truly met your CPD (and CBC) requirements.
  • If you are not a CBFCA member and you haven't attended events (or sufficient events to give you 30 CPD points) you can attain your CPD through the CBFCA's Accredited CPD Program. The access fee is $295 (+GST) and this gives you full access to our extensive library of pre-recorded CPD sessions. If you would like to use this very effective pathway to attain your CPD points, just send me an email and I will make it happen for you.

CBC
  • Did you attend the CBFCA's Regional and National Conferences this year? If so, you would have attained your two (2) hours of CBC in the process. Nothing more to do.
  • Did you attend a CBFCA conference as well as the DAWR session held in November 2016? If so, then you should also be covered for your two hours. All good.
  • If you haven't attained any CBC at this stage, or you think you might be one hour short, the easiest and simplest way to attain this is through the CBFCA's Accredited CBC Program. A tiny fee of $55 (+GST) gives you immediate access to the CBC sessions online through the CBFCA. Two hours later, you are done and dusted. Couldn't be easier. To access the CBC Program click HERE and enrol online. Again, any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

As always, if you need any assistance, don't hesitate to ask your friendly CBFCA Training Team member. You can catch us on (07) 3256 0146 or email us directly via [email protected].
