QUBE International Terminal Fee Update (NNF 2017/233)
Further to NNF 2017/194 notice seeking clarity and expressing concerns about the QUBE International Terminal Fee (ITF), QUBE Logistics confirms the introduction of the ITF at its container freight stations in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
The implementation of the ITF will go ahead as previously advised with the fee being applicable from
Monday 9 October 2017.
Unless anti-competitive practices can be proven, CBFCA is not expecting any form of relief from regulators and other depots are starting to implement similar infrastructure levies.
Based on this commercial decision to implement the fee members need to review their individual commercial arrangements with QUBE Logistics or use other service providers.
