Changes to Luxury Car Tax Threshold and Fuel Efficient Vehicle Limit (NNF 2017/119)
The following information has been provided by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection and is forwarded for your attention.
"There will be an increase in the luxury car tax (LCT) threshold limit for the 2017-18 financial year.
The Australian Taxation Office has determined that from 1 July 2017 the following are effective:
- LCT Threshold $65,094 (increased from $64,132)
- Fuel efficient vehicle limit $75,526 (remains unchanged)
The new rates will be reflected in the ICS from Saturday 1 July 2017."
