CBFCA provides advice on future port capacity (NNF 2016/162)

Infrastructure Victoria has been requested by the Victorian Special Minister of State to provide advice on the future capacity and location of Victoria’s container ports.

There are two key questions Infrastructure Victoria wish to address – when and where?, and provide advice on when to invest in extra container port capacity, and where – at either a Hastings or Bay West location. A final report is due to the Victorian Special Minister of State in May 2017.

To start the conversation Infrastructure Victoria released a discussion paper – Preparing advice on Victoria’s future ports capacity.

Infrastructure Victoria invited the CBFCA to participate in this critical initial stage of developing the port advice.
