Hanjin Milano finally arrives in Melbourne (NNF 2016/148)

Further to ongoing updates provided we are happy to advise you that the Hanjin Milano has finally arrived in Melbourne and is along side at Partick East Swanston Dock (ESD) and will commence discharge this morning.

ESD has advertised the Hanjin Milano is available as of Wednesday 28/09 – Saturday 01/10. This vessel will still be discharging into Wednesday, please check the availability of your containers.

It is important to note members of the NEAX service are advising clients that containers destined for Sydney and Brisbane will be discharged in Melbourne and possibly transhipped on different vessels. Individual member lines will keep clients posted of any further developments, watch this space !

Hanjin Containers on the Hanjin Milano

Patrick Terminals are not currently offering Terminal Services to Hanjin Shipping for handling of its containers.

Partick will however discharge the Hanjin Melbourne import containers in Melbourne. The containers can be delivered to importers if the cost for Terminal Handling Charge is paid prior to collection. The Terminal Handling Charge for Hanjin general containers is $375 + GST per 20’, $490 + GST per 40’ and $725 + GST per 45’. Non general containers will be priced on application. The level of the Terminal Handling Charge is set as cost recovery for Patrick Terminals. Any other relevant import tariffs will still be applicable.

Patrick Terminals remain committed to ensuring any disruption incurred by Australian importers is minimised over the coming weeks.

If you have Hanjin import containers discharging from the Hanjin Milano please contact the National Operations Centre (NOC) for assistance in removing your containers from the relevant terminal.
