Key changes affecting Broker Approved Arrangements (NNF 2016/060)

"Who does this notice affect?

Customs Brokers and Self Reporting Importers accredited for the Non Commodity for Containerised Cargo Clearance (NCCC) and Automatic Entry Processing for Commodities (AEPCOMM) schemes.

What has changed?

As per Industry Advice Notice 29/2016, invitations to enter an Approved Arrangement (AA) under the Biosecurity Act 2015 were distributed to Compliance Agreement (CA) signatories on the 16 May. The Biosecurity Act 2015 commences on the 16 June 2016. The purpose of this notice is to provide an overview of the key changes affecting the NCCC and AEPCOMM AA’s (Broker AA’s) on commencement of the Act.
