Membership to the CBFCA offers you a variety of benefits including discounted industry training and networking events.

We have various levels of membership to suit the needs of individuals, business and students within the Customs Broking and Freight Forwarding industry.

The  annual membership fees will cover you for financial year (July –June) inclusive of GST and reduced pro-rata fees apply for applications received during the financial year, which must be approved by the Board.



The CBFCA offers business membership to a sole proprietor, a partnership or corporation which (principally) engages in the business of customs broking and/or international freight forwarding industry related services.

Your membership fees are calculated on the number of employees who hold a current Customs Broker Licence.

The annual membership fees will cover you for financial year (July - June) inclusive of GST and reduced pro-rata fees apply for applications received during the financial year, which must be approved by the Board.

An individual (annual) membership provides access to professional development and training benefits.

An Individual Member is a person who holds a current Customs Broker License, current International Air Transport Association accredited Dangerous Goods Air Acceptance and/or Diploma of International Freight Forwarding. 

Annual fee $ 503.00 (incl GST)
A Student member is a student who is enrolled in the Diploma of Customs Broking or Diploma of International Freight Forwarding.

Annual Fee $125.10 (incl GST)
A Licentiate member is an individual who has graduated from the Diploma of Customs Broking and is currently working towards obtaining their customs brokers licence.

Annual Fee $125.10 (incl GST)

AFFILIATE BUSINESS  

 
An Affiliate Business member is a business which is not eligible for membership as an individual, business or student member of the Association.

Such members do not have the right to vote in respect of Association matters, nor be entitled to membership of the Board. 

Annual Fee $ 1,533.20 (incl GST)



AFFILIATE INDIVIDUAL

 
An Affiliate Individual member is an individual which is not eligible for membership as an individual, business or student member of the Association.

Such members do not have the right to vote in respect of Association matters, nor be entitled to membership of the Board.

Not many industry Associations are RTOs as it difficult to maintain RTO compliance status. However, the CBFCA as your RTO is commonly heard by the training regulator in the development of qualifications, assessment of qualifications, the provision of practical work experience and validation of assessment. We developed and now deliver the Diploma of Customs Broking and Diploma of International Freight Forwarding, increasing members knowledge and professionalism
